I’ve ordered from this restaurant on numerous occasions through what’s for dinner, but unfortunately one of the sandwiches that I ordered yesterday, Sunday 26th July contained a foreign object that my husband almost choked on. It appears to be the foil top that you would remove from a bottle of mayonnaise or similar.

What’s for dinner customer service are unable to contact the restaurant in order to let them know what happened. I’m incredibly disappointed and won’t be ordering from the wandering elk again as there is obviously a quality control/ due diligence issue here.

10/10, extremely kind friendly staff they go above and beyond. Would come back for the customer service alone but the food was amazing I had the Cajun toasty and the coffee is stunning so smooth and delicious. Very centrally located and easily accessible by car, lots of car parking space around the cafe. Super clean and inviting space. Couldn’t recommend enough!! Will be back next time I’m in Athlone! :)

Such a perfect coffee! Creamy, and with beautiful latte art on top that shows the care put into its preparation. You can tell it was made with a lot of love. I’ll definitely be back!
